Eastern Division COVID protocols require certain procedures ….CT Region will follow. We will need to provide proof of vaccination at the Regional Refresher. In an effort to avoid long lines at the registration point, I have been asked to obtain this information at our On the Hill. While WE (at Sundown) have not required proof of vaccination to participate, CT Region is asking.
I get that some of you have not gotten vaccinated for any number of reasons, and that is your choice. Either way, I need to know your status, and you will be asked to provide proof of vaccination at OUR refresher, for the future refresher. If you are not vaccinated, or if you wish to NOT disclose the information, please let me know.
Please note that Eastern Division legal has looked at the validity of being protected under HIPAA as a reason for NOT providing proof of vaccination.
It is their position that we are not covered under this, and we need to provide the information. More information on this is available upon request.
